To keep your balance its important to know that as blissful as the experience may be, you will feel exhausted and may even start to feel your sanity ticking away. To save your sanity try to be organised, do not be shy to ask for help when you feel overwhelmed,nothing is more important than developing an understanding relationship with your new-born and everyday take a shower and go outside for a few minutes.
After delivery even though your uterus shrinks back to its normal size, it is not unlikely to still look pregnant for a couple of weeks. The good news is this can be helped by doing regular exercise and healthy diet to help get rid of your pregnancy pouch.
Your health at this stage should become a priority. You should be in a position to take care of your health needs in order to meet those of your new-born. Take the proper nutrition especially since your body has just undergone a lot of changes. Take some rest but do not forget to walk outside.
Your sexual life
The truth is that it wont feel as good the first time. Even if you had a c-section your hormones with cause trauma and all you think about is the pin of delivery.You might not be into it due to various reason such as your lack of sleep due to interrupted sleep patterns or the fact that you realize your tummy is not going to flatten itself thus resulting to body issues. The beauty is that it gets better with time.
