1. Your priorities change
The first thing a wife wants to do is feed her family. As a single woman your appearance was your first priority but after you get married you realize you can’t get away with something and fitness and health become a less priority to you .
Your body is trying to adjust to a new home and a new lifestyle. As a defense mechanism your body changes it’s digestive system which means loss of nutrition which results in loss of energy and cravings at odd hours which leads to weight gain.
3. You eat more
You have a new family to see and get to know. During this times you eat alot in those dinner parties and lunch with the family . You eat alot due to been anxious at the meetings and this you add on weight
When you sign the marriage papers,you think marriage is for life and you no longer have to worry about losing that person. So you let go of your health and fitness because you know no matter what that person will be there .
5. Pregnancy happens
Now you have a new family, going to the gym is no longer an option. You are exhausted with everything. Your sleep pattern is interrupted. You just do not have time for yourself. Then you gain a whopping 10 kilos.
